"18 Shades of Green" Guest Day
Thursday, June 26, 2025
Scramble & Luncheon
8am Shotgun Start
According to golf gurus, the key to truly enjoying the game isn’t obsessing over your score—it’s about soaking in the scenery, breathing the fresh air, and leaning into the social side of the sport! So why not take that wisdom to heart? Invite a guest and join us for 18 Shades of Green, where WGA camaraderie and a relaxed scramble format promise a day full of laughter set against the green vistas of our home course at her most beautiful. Enjoy connecting with nature, your fellow golfers and your game. Who knows, you or your guest may even win one of Adam’s on course events and take home a prize at the luncheon! Along with the fun, we’re embracing the idea of going green—not just by surrounding ourselves with mature maples and lush fairways, but by celebrating the beauty and responsbility of our shared environment. Consider adding another shade of green to the day by wearing green, bringing a reusable water bottle, or carpooling to the event. Come join the fun of guest day!
Registration Information:
This event is open to all WGA members. Registration will end on June 19 (or when we reach a maximum of 100 participants). Handicaps are needed for pairings and to calculate the score for the winning foursome. (Your guest's handicap can be an estimate based on recent scores).
Members must register for themselves and their guest as a twosome through the website. Members may choose to play with another WGA member, but must register in the same fashion, as a pair through the website. If you would like to form a foursome, by joining with another twosome, please email the Guest Day chair with the names of all four people in your preferred pairing. If you are not part of a foursome, no worries, we will happily form one for you!
To register yourself and a guest: select your name from the dropdown menu by “Select Player.” Check the dropdown menu by “Select Partner” to see if your guest is already in our system (e.g., your guest played in Guest Day in an earlier year, or is a former WGA member). If you find your guest in the dropdown menu by “Select Partner,” select her! If your guest is not listed , choose “GUEST OF MEMBER” in the dropdown menu by “Select Partner.” You will then be asked to supply your guest’s name, email address, and handicap. You must pay the full $150 event fee for you and your guest.
To register yourself and another WGA member as your “guest”: Select your name from the dropdown menu by “Select Player,” and select her name in the dropdown menu by “Select Partner.” In this case, you may pay only your $75 share of the $150 event fee. Be sure to have the WGA member who is your "guest" register online as well, choosing your name as her partner and paying her $75 share of the $150 event fee.
After registering and paying, please click on this link, See Who's Registered, to make sure that you and your guest are listed as playing together.
Fee:
$150 per twosome; includes tee gift, snacks, range balls, prizes, decor, lunch and a champagne toast.
YOU MUST PAY FOR YOUR NON-MEMBER GUEST at time of registration. However, if your "guest" is also a CURRENT member, you can pay only $75 for yourself and then select your member partner's name in the dropdown menu. Be sure to have her register online as well, choosing your name as her partner and paying her $75 share of the $150 event fee.
As always, green and cart fees are additional and will be charged to the member automatically on the day of play - carts are mandatory for this event in order to maintain pace of play, no exceptions.
